About: This is a 2 hour how-to presentation of my signature methods for how I make my stamps as well as use my stamps. Demonstrations include making a clay stamp start to finish, and actually using stamps to stamp vertical, thrown forms & slabs at suede. I show & tell a few of my favorite stamps among the dozens I use regularly as well as offer suggestions for making roulettes and sprigs.

Discussions include timing, tools, working with a plaster slab, stamping results on porcelain & stoneware, plus design & decoration ideas & goals, and as always, ergonomics.

Who this is for: Beginners to Advanced, Throwers, Hand-builders & Sculptors ~ all are welcome. If you’ve got your fingers in clay and are interested in adding another layer of texture and/ or decoration to your work, I’ve got you!
