Sales Tax
Fellow residents of Massachusetts will be charged sales tax. Note: I have two studio sales a year at my home studio if you're regionally located. Sign up for my newletter to receive dates and details.
Gifts
If your purchase is a gift, I am more than happy to ship directly to the recipient and include a note that it is from you and/or any message you would like to convey, plus include 'about' & 'care info' and my latest postcard. No invoice or receipt will be included. I do not gift wrap.
Shipping, Overages, & Packing
I primarily ship within North America, and do charge for shipping. As a sole-proprietor of handmade ceramics, I cannot offer free shipping. If your order costs less to pack & ship, I reimburse overages over $3.
Shipping costs primarily cover the cost of postage, but also include the cost of packaging materials and packing time. Ceramics needs to be packed well and requires sturdy and durable materials. I use both new as well as clean, recycled and recyclable materials to keep costs down and be eco friendly when I can.
After a purchase is made, I will send you an email to confirm the ship-to address, and let you know the expected ship date of your purchase. It is the buyer's responsibility to make sure the address is correct, and that the purchase is going to a secure location. I am not responsible for lost or stolen packages.
Items usually ship within 2-4 days from my studio here in Massachusetts via USPS for small items, and UPS or FedEx Ground for larger items & multiples.
"Pick up" is a checkout option if you are local and would like to pick up your purchases curbside in my studio driveway to avoid pack/ship charges.
Contact me with any questions, concerns, or checkout problems.
International
I haven't listed prices for shipping internationally because it can be expensive, but am happy to offer an estimate and ship anything you'd like. Cups can be shipped abroad through USPS First Class International starting at $28 USD, and can take 7-14 business days in transit. Please note that international orders can be charged import tax, for which the buyer is responsible.
Color & Dimensions
The item pictured is the exact pot available for purchase. I do my best to take photos portraying the actual color and quality of each item, as well as list the approximate dimensions (within ¼ - ½”). Please take the time to read the dimensions before purchasing, and drop me an email if you still have questions. Note, computer screens can alter the actual colors.
Each item is top quality, unique, and individually handmade by me from an organic material, so sizes will vary slightly, and sometimes there are tiny iron beauty marks and/or pinholes in the clay or glaze.
Refunds & Exchanges
I must be notified immediately regarding work damaged in shipping, so that it may be reported to the shipper. (This has happened once in twenty five years of shipping.) Please email me images of the damaged piece, all the packaging, and keep all packing materials.
I would like you to be happy with your purchase. If for some reason you are not satisfied please email me within five days of receipt. The buyer is responsible for prompt, safe return of work and return shipping costs to receive a refund for the price of the item only. Postage is not refunded.
Requests, Workshops, and Discounted items cannot be returned for refund.
